Let's keep science going!
The COVID-19 pandemic has suddenly changed our way of working and living.
As scientists of universities and research centers in full lockdown, this situation is affecting our ability to do any kind of experiment which is not in front of a computer and
to present, discuss, and learn about ongoing research.
Here, we wish to tell you about a few opportunities to make the best of our time at home.
First of all, let's face it, we are unlikely to go to a conference for at least the next 4-to-6 months.
Luckily, live streamed and recorded webinars are popping up everywhere.
Here, we will keep you updated on and host webinars in different fields!
Second, for the experimental biologists among you, who are stuck at home with no chances of doing the experiments they'd love to,
this is a great time to approach bioinformatics and learn new skills that could become an asset in your career.
Here, we will collect and produce different types of tutorials to approach computational biology tools and resources and learn
how to find, explore, and analyze biological data.
We all hope to be back soon in our labs and present our work in front of real people and not just computer screens,
but in the meantime, we hope this will help keep your science going!
